Refund policy

The Granny Wardrobe has a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase with a return reference number.

To start a return, you can contact me at return@grannywardrobe.com, you will need to provide the below details:

  • Order Number
  • Name and Email
  • Reason to return (optional)

You will need the return reference number when you send the return package to the following address:

I strongly advise you to use a tracked shipping service as I'm not responsible for the returned item(s) getting lost in transit. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please refuse the delivery if the package is damaged upon delivery, take photos and kindly let me know straight away so I can report the issue to Canada Post. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact me immediately if you receive the wrong item (although it's highly unlikely!).


Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like lingerie and swimwear, and the As-Is collection. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
Because all items in the shop are one-of-a-kind, once it's gone, it is gone forever! The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to let me know the item you want to exchange, so I can put it on hold for you while waiting for the return of the original item.

I will confirm upon receipt and inspect the item, you will receive an email upon successful inspection with either an invoice or a refund confirmation for the difference.*

*If the exchanged item price is greater than the current paid balance, you will receive an invoice to pay for the difference plus shipping. If the difference is less, it will be refunded via the original payment method minus shipping.


Refunds
I will notify you once I've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
